Whether you’re a student, a shift worker, a mom, or a young professional – we can all agree on one thing.  Life gets really busy sometimes!

Things happen.  Stuff gets complicated.

But, managing your money shouldn’t be!   That’s why we’d like to share these six money management tools with you.  If you don’t use them already, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without them.

1. Direct Deposit or Auto Transfer

If you’re like me, saving money doesn’t just come naturally.  Fortunately, there’s an easy fix for that – making it automatic!  Using services like Direct Deposit and Auto Transfer takes all of the work and pain out of saving.

Simply, commit to an amount you’ll tuck away as soon as you get paid, sign up, and watch your savings grow!

2. Bill Pay

There’s just SO much paper!  Invoices, checks, postage, stamps – who really wants to deal with all that?  Not me!  If you’re looking to save time (and forests), Bill Pay is definitely the way to go.

It’s also a great way to avoid pesky mail delays and late fees.  Need we say more?

3. Finance Works

Budgeting.  No matter how much you might hate to admit it, it’s necessary, even for those who are feeling pretty comfortable financially.  Finance Works is a great feature of our new Online Banking.  It categorizes your expenses, allow you to create spending and saving goals, and will send you email alerts about your progress.

Now, that’s budgeting made easy!

4. Pop Money

Inevitably, it’s going to happen.  You split lunch with a friend, but you don’t have any cash with you!  Pop Money is the perfect solution to this scenario and many others like it.  No cash, no problem.  You can text or email your payment without sharing any sensitive account information.

5. CardValet

This app is seriously magical!  Have you ever “misplaced” your debit card only to find it in your cup holder two days later?  CardValet lets you turn your debit card on and off!  You can also use it to limit geographic locations or merchants where your card is used.  And, you can set spending limits, which is great if you used a shared account for your business or family! You can download it for free in the App Store or Google Play

6. Remote Deposit

I’m not a huge fan of checks… or paper in general! But, I think we can all agree that money going in to your account is a good thing!  Remote Deposit is pretty wonderful because you can deposit your checks from ANYWHERE.  Just open the DuGood app, follow the instructions about endorsing your check, snap a photo, and send.

Ready to FEEL GOOD about your money?
