Sixteen-year-old Campbell Fuller was determined to be as independent as he could. He had his eye on a Ford Mustang... a few years old, but sleek, shiny, in great condition. He had done all the legwork himself.
"Camp" had worked hard waiting tables to save up for the down payment. All he needed now was a little help with the financing.

Happy to see her son achieve his goals, Camp’s mom, Amy, stepped in and applied for a loan. She first reached out to a bank. And after several days, she still hadn’t received a response.

A Bump in the Road
Brandi began walking the Fullers through the process of getting their auto loan. Then she noticed something suspicious.
Something seemed off about the Mustang that Camp was set on purchasing. The owner was living out of the country and had passed the vehicle along to a friend, giving him the responsibility of showing and selling the car...
She sensed the sell could be a scam.
"Brandi explained to Camp that this sounded like it may be not be a legitimate sale, and that it would be impossible to complete the transfer of the title without the owner being present to sign it," Amy shared.
"She took the time to explain this to Camp, and he learned so much from her."
Driving Home Happy
Soon afterwards, Camp tracked down the car he’d been searching for. This time it was the real deal!
Now the proud owner of 2016 Shadow Black Ford Mustang, Camp’s persistence paid off. Both he and Amy feel thankful for the guidance they received from DuGood along the way.
